This You Yangs Regional Park is renowned in the region (and beyond) for wildlife watching, scenic vistas and terrific trails, both mountain bike and walking. With 50km of mountain bike trails and six designated walking tracks, there is something suitable for all levels and abilities.
A picturesque promenade that weaves and winds its way along the Geelong Waterfront is the perfect way to spend an afternoon on your bike or feet. Delectable cafes, a soaring sky wheel, an old-school carousel, historic pier, Eastern Beach, artistic impressions and so much more make for ideal stopovers along the way.
Barwon River Trail
The Barwon River Trail provides connections to a number of extraordinary reserves including, the epic ebbs and flows of Buckley Falls. Stretching for 20 kilometres, this sealed track extends along the banks of the Barwon River, awarding a stream of stunning water views.
Bellarine Rail Trail
Whether you walk or ride, take on half or all of it, the Bellarine Rail Trail presents stunning scenery and possibly the sighting of a locomotive steam engine or two! Stretching for South Geelong to the charming seaside town of Queenscliff, there is almost 80km of pathway for you to cycle or walk.
